PDK81602-3×0.75+2SMF Neutrally Buoyant ROV Cable 500 m

Watertight Optoelectric Cables · Marine & Subsea

Neutrally buoyant ROV cable with 3×0.75 mm² power cores and two single-mode fibers in a double PUR sheath, 300 kg tensile, 500 m depth rating.

Custom engineering is available: conductor cross-section and core count, shielding type, sheath color, length and print marking can all be adapted to the operating conditions; technical parameters are subject to the specification document confirmed by both parties.

Product overview

This dedicated subsea cable is designed for demanding seabed applications that need reliable power, data transmission and inherent buoyancy. Its robust construction ensures stable performance in challenging aquatic environments.

Key features:

Outstanding buoyancy: the distinctive double-layer polyurethane (PUR) sheath, made up of a foamed PUR layer and a solid PUR layer, provides significant positive buoyancy. This design helps the cable float or hold a specific depth in water, reducing deployment weight and stress.

Robust construction and high tensile strength: the double-sheath design increases durability and gives a tensile strength of 300 kg, so the cable withstands pull during installation and operation.

Outstanding material properties: polyurethane (PUR) provides excellent abrasion resistance, very good resistance to oil and grease, hydrolysis resistance and good flexibility even at low temperature. This ensures long-term reliability and protection against harsh subsea conditions.

Integrated conductors: the cable combines power and data transmission in one component:

3*0.75: provides robust power conductors.

2 single-mode fibers: for high-speed data and video transmission.
