Underwater Fiber Connectors

Optical connections underwater have to keep two polished end faces aligned, dry and clean while the connector is submerged, mated and re-mated. Assemblies combine a pressure-rated shell, a sealed optical path and strain relief that keeps bend radius above the fibre limit.
