PAIDECABLE Hybrid Undersea ROV Umbilical Cable - Power, Signal and Fiber
Underwater Power Cables · Marine & Subsea

Watertight, torque-balanced hybrid umbilical for ROV work: 300 V to 4.5 kV power conductors, shielded data pairs and fiber in one cable.
Product introduction
Applications:
PAIDEKABLE supplies high-watertight, torque-balanced multi-core hybrid cables for vessels, offshore oil platforms and deep-sea resource exploration, where ROVs carry both data and power underwater - in fixed systems as well as in mobile systems, that is, when the vehicle is towed through the water above the seabed. PAIDEKABLE also develops subsea cables for connecting submersible motors and underwater work equipment, tow cables for offshore applications, steel-armoured subsea optical cables and deep-sea cables.
Cable assembly:
The hybrid design can integrate several functions, such as optical fibers, coaxial cables and air or water hoses.
- Optical fibers in stainless steel tubes, including 1-24 fibers, single-mode, multimode, hybrid modes and project-specific fibers.
- Data signals requiring Ethernet Cat5e and Cat6 signal pairs, RS-232, RS-485, analogue, coaxial or shielded assemblies.
- Power conductors from 300 V to 4.5 kV, with insulation selected for the specific application.
- Transverse water-blocking to 5000 m; longitudinal water-blocking to 1000 m.
Materials
- Conductor: stranded oxygen-free copper wires, flexible and corrosion resistant.
- Insulation: PVC/PE/TPEE/FEP
- Core identification: color-coded / coded
- Filler: aramid fiber / water-blocking yarn / water-blocking compound
- Shield: aluminum foil / tinned copper braid (individual / overall)
- Strength member: lightweight aramid fiber (Kevlar), meeting the working strength and breaking strength required (100-50000 N)
- Sheath: specially modified water-blocking TPU sheath (color made to customer requirements)
- Temperature range: fixed installation -40 °C to +90 °C; mobile installation -30 °C to +90 °C (-40 °C to +150 °C on customer specification)
Features:
Good watertightness, resistance to acids and alkalis, UV resistance and resistance to tearing, with high reliability under extreme conditions and long cable service life, which helps reduce equipment downtime.
