Applications:

PAIDE supplies high watertight, torque-balanced multi-core hybrid cables for vessels, offshore oil platforms and deep-sea resource exploration. They serve subsea vehicles that carry both data and power, in fixed systems as well as mobile systems, that is, when the vehicle is towed through the water above the seabed. PAIDE also develops submersible cables for connecting submersible motors and subsea working equipment, tow cables for offshore applications, armoured subsea optical cables and deep-sea cables.

Cable assembly:

The hybrid design can integrate several functions, such as optical fibers, coaxial cables and air or water hoses.

— Optical fibers in stainless steel tubes, including 1-24 fibers, single-mode, multimode, mixed-mode and custom specific fibers.

– Data signals require Ethernet Cat5e and Cat6 pairs, RS-232, RS-485, analog, coaxial or shielded assemblies.

– Power conductors from 300 V to 4.5 kV, with insulation selected for the specific application.

Ø Transverse water-blocking up to 5000 m, longitudinal water-blocking up to 1000 m.

Features:

Good water resistance, resistance to acids and alkalis, UV resistance and resistance to tearing; high reliability under extreme conditions and long cable life, which helps reduce equipment downtime.

The cable has high tensile strength and is suitable for signal transmission between subsea assets. The bright green TPU jacket is highly visible and the finished cable is very flexible. Outer diameter 12.1 mm.
